The Delta Dozer trawl was designed by our shop all the way back in the 1980's as a Shrimp trawl net. In 2018 we re-designed it to catch fish . . . . . lots of fish . . . different species. . . . . different sizes. . . . . .

Dozer Trawl in action. 7' x 3' model. Outfitted with Hydraulic lift frame and Shock Set Up.

INS can build the nets and the frames. We have a subcontractor machine shop that can build portable ( shippable) frames to most boats from 18' x 54" . . . . . . . . to 28' x 84".
Or . . . . you build your own and we supply the nets
If you Google Dozer Trawls, you will find several videos by the USFWS and the USGS. Both are using OUR nets .
INS also builds the Double Barrel Dozer. Two nets mounted on a wide frame. Their bags ( cod ends) ride right at the bottom edge of your hull, making it easier to retrieve EACH bag of catch.

The Double Dozer with Shock Array and " Fenders" to bounce any escaping Asian Carp, back into path of the Twin 7' Dozer nets.
|
The Double Dozer requires larger hull size and horse power. While INS does NOT possess Marine Stability statistics, we can 'guide' you as to what size of hull and hp you should be at least considering.
